Make your inbox easy on the eyes
In the new Gmail version, there are three ways in which you can view your incoming emails. Once you migrate to the latest Gmail version, you will be prompted to choose between the Comfortable, Compact, and Default mode. These three modes are the different ways in which the incoming emails will be displayed in your Gmail.
Gmail new features
In addition to these three modes, there are more options available now as you hover over the email. You can hover over the message and a pop-up will give options to mark as read/unread, delete, archive, or Snooze. Snooze is a feature that hides the email in a folder till a later time that you set. To snooze an email, hover over the email and hit the Snooze button, then choose the date and time you want to deal with the email. The email will disappear until then.
Gmail sidebar is surely one of the best new Gmail features that allow the users to save time and be more productive. This Sidebar lets you access other GSuite applications as well as third-party software while staying within Gmail. The Gmail sidebar contains Calendar, Tasks, and Keep by default. However, you can customize your Gmail sidebar and add/remove apps according to your needs and preferences. You can also hide the sidebar if you don’t like it. Just go to the bottom of the bar and hit the small arrowhead pointing towards the right.
Smart features in Gmail
Gmail new features include AI-powered smart replies that automatically generate replies to incoming emails. This helps you skip the email writing and reply to an email with a single click. Moreover, you also have smart compose that helps you compose emails faster by predicting the next words.
With the recent Gmail update, Google has added many new Gmail features that not only make Gmail look better but also help users enjoy their Gmail experience. Gmail now has a brand new interface, new features such as smart replies, and snooze, and better account security.
